Mrklaw44 This is from the Justice Society in Earth-22. The end to Kingdom Come
This can be seen in Justice Society of American #22 by Geoff Johns and Alex Ross published in 2008. It had some beautiful images showing the future of the Kingdom Superman, Wonder Woman and Batman. A bright and hopeful future, seeing their children/ god children grow. Clark, Diana and their children are there when their beloved friend, Bruce Wayne, the Batman, is laid to rest. We see Dick Grayson near his daughter. She and Bruce’s son have children together. The eldest son of Clark and Diana leaves for the stars, accompanying arks suggesting the search for and colonization of other worlds. The superwonder family are there when disaster hits the earth and help rebuild it. Clark is a farmer just like his father, growing food to fill the world’s food basket. Superman lives to be an old man well into the 30th Century in time to see the fruits of his legacy. The Legion of Superheroes. The Federation of Planets. A truly inspiring and wonderful final chap to the DCU. If you are are Kingdom Come fan you should try and get this single issue. It’s worth it for these panels alone.
“It’s not a game of pin the tail on the racist, it’s simply a matter of social literacy. In this case, being aware of how “race” as an idea is ridiculous but still informs how we behave.“ - Ronald Wimberly
Profound comic story by one of comic book’s most important voices, super talent, Ronald Wimberly d-pi (Prince Of Cats)
